Gerald L. Sauer

Gerald Sauer is the founding partner at Attorneys for Employees.  Mr. Sauer founded the firm based on the need to provide employees with the same quality of legal representation enjoyed by employers.  Mr. Sauer’s practice has included representation of employers and employees in a wide range of disputes involving various aspects of employment law as well as commercial and intellectual property law.  As a direct result of the breadth of his experience, Mr. Sauer utilizes a pragmatic approach in helping employees assess their claims and finding the most desirable path to a resolution.

For over 35 years, Mr. Sauer has been engaged in the practice of law in Los Angeles and other states as a civil trial attorney.  He has extensive jury trial experience in federal and state courts and has handled numerous matters in alternative dispute resolution forums, including arbitrations and mediations.  Mr. Sauer has briefed and argued numerous appellate matters in both federal and state courts, and he has participated in oral argument before the California Supreme Court.
